Celtic are said to be targeting Sardar Azmoun, with Brendan Rodgers having ambitious transfer plans.

If Celtic complete the signing of Sardar Azmoun from FC Rostov this summer it will prove that Brendan Rodgers has already taken the Glasgow club to the next level.
Azmoun is said to be on Celtic’s radar by the Scottish Sun, as Rodgers looks to strengthen his side.

And the 22-year-old would surely have been out of Celtic’s reach, prior to Rodgers’ arrival at Parkhead.
Azmoun has been touted as one of the most exciting, young talents across Europe – with his performances for Rostov impressing.
The Iranian has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Everton (Sun) over his career to date.

But such is the excitement about the project that Rodgers is designing at Celtic, there is now a hope that they could compete with the Premier League pair for the striker’s signature.
And if Celtic were able to snap up Azmoun, it would surely be their most ambitious transfer move for many years.
