The Swansea City star looks set for Turkey, where the Tottenham Hotspur player has been recently linked.
Bafetimbi Gomis
It looks like Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis could leave the club in the next 24-48 hours, according to reports in Turkey that is.
CNN Turkey is reporting that Swansea and Gala have come to an agreement over a fee for the player – who scored 21 goals whilst on loan at Marseille this season.
Vincent Janssen
He will join on a three-year deal with Galatasaray’s sporting director Cenk Ergun heading to France today (31/05/2017) to conclude talks with the Swansea player over a move.
But what would this mean for Galatasaray’s reported interest in Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen?
Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen in action
Fanatik was reporting earlier this week that the Turkish side were keen on both Janssen and Tottenham team-mate Kevin Wimmer – both of whom struggled at White Hart Lane last season.
Dutch media outlet Soccer News claimed Galatasaray were prepared to pay €20 million (£17 million) to bring the Dutchman to the club this summer.
Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen looks dejected after missed chance
Full steam ahead for Wimmer, but Galatasaray cannot throw money around and if Gomis signs, the need for Janssen will not make his signature a pressing matter.
Tottenham signed the 22-year-old last summer as a back-up to Harry Kane but he has looked off the mark in his debut season in England. With that in mind, a sale is certainly possible. However, Galatasaray will surely not be in a position to sign the player this summer.
