Idrissa Gueye has told Everton’s official website he is excited to play at Goodison Park after completing his move from Aston Villa.
The midfielder completed a move from Aston Villa on Tuesday after the Blues activated a £7.2 million release clause in his contract at Villa Park.
He has signed a four-year deal on Merseyside, becoming their second signing of the summer transfer window.

His focus will now be on getting himself integrated into Ronald Koeman’s side as quickly as possible ahead of the new season, which starts in two weeks time.
And he has said he is excited to get underway, explaining what his new manager told him about his move.
“I am very happy to be here at Everton,” he told the club’s official website.
“Goodison Park is a very good stadium and the fans are very good, too. I am excited to play there. The manager told me he is very happy to have me here and that we will have time to talk about football after.”

Gueye will now be hoping he can replicate the kind of form that he managed at Villa Park last season.
He was second to only Leicester City star N’Golo Kante in several statistical areas, which is impressive considering Villa were relegated from the Premier League.
It is that kind of form that will have attracted Ronald Koeman, and the midfielder will be keen to replicate it and show they money they have paid for him was well spent.
