The Telegraph report that Villa are interested in bringing back the Chelsea hitman to B6 in the summer.
Other Premier League clubs, such as West Ham, are also interested in his services, so Dean Smith’s side face competition if they intend to put some serious dough on the table for his signature.
After watching Abraham help Villa to promotion two seasons ago, it’s no surprise that the supporters would welcome him back with open arms.
Plus, they will feel that they will have an advantage on other teams because he already has a connection with their fans, players and those on the coaching staff.
A lot may also depend on whether Villa get into Europe because if they do then their squad will need bulking up that bit more, which may result in the club deciding that they should push for his services.
