The Premier League would be the ‘ideal’ destination for Emmanuel Dennis this summer according to Club Brugge boss Philippe Clement, who tips the reported Arsenal, Everton and Southampton target with a move to England.
Talk about a man for the big occasion.
Like Liverpool’s Divock Origi, Dennis is not the most prolific forward in the game. But he certainly has a knack for stepping up in style when the world is watching.
The 22-year-old Nigerian not only scored twice as Brugge stunned Real Madrid at their Bernabau home in the Champions League group stages, he also lofted a gorgeous lob into Manchester United’s net as recently as February.
His searing pace gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plenty of headaches at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
And, with the likes of Everton, Leicester, Southampton and Crystal Palace keen, according to FootMercato, Dennis’s raw speed could have even England’s finest centre-backs suffering the odd sleepless night sooner rather than later.

“There is no lack of interest in Dennis, although there does not currently seem to be a concrete offer that meets the club’s expectations,” Brugge coach Clement told HLN.
“The Premier League is where there is a lot of room for the fast attackers – it is an ideal destination (for Dennis).
“So, we have to wait and see if one of the English clubs will soon put an acceptable offer on the table.”
Brugge want a hefty £23 million for their nine-goal talisman with Walfoot in March suggesting that Dennis is one of many candidates to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal.
The African sensation certainly shares Aubameyang’s explosive acceleration – but he could do with working on those finishing skills.
