West Ham United fans on Twitter have laughed off the rumours that they want to sign Brighton winger Solly March this summer.
90 Min have claimed that West Ham are just a number of Premier League clubs who are interested in March and the East London club have opened talks for his signature.
The West Ham faithful understand what a ridiculous move this would be by their club given the drama around their decision to sell Grady Diangana.
You would think that the West Ham board wouldn’t make such an idiotic decision, but given what has been happening at the club lately, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it does happen.
One thing is for sure, West Ham fans have made it clear that he’s a player that they don’t want to sign, nor is he a player they need.
David Moyes already has a number of wide players already at his disposal and it’s more a case of the Scotsman needing to free space up out on the wings rather than adding to what they already have.
West Ham’s record transfers
- Sebastien Haller
£45 million
- Felipe Anderson
£41.5 million
- Marko Arnautovic
£25 million
- Pablo Fornals
£24 million
- Issa Diop
£22 million
When Brighton were promoted to England’s top-flight for the first time in 2017, March was a player the Seagulls fans were expecting to thrive and potentially knock for an England call.
Whilst the technically gifted attacker has had his moments, he simply hasn’t been able to add consistency to his game in the final third and it’s quite clear that it’s a signing that wouldn’t go down well with the already annoyed West Ham faithful.
