Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have been getting very excited after links to Adama Traore emerged on 90min.
The Spanish winger has long-been coveted by some of the biggest clubs in the country, and now Leeds United seem to be in for him.
Traore certainly won’t come cheaply, and after spending almost £100m in the summer, you have to question whether or not this deal can actually happen.
However, Angus Kinnear said last week that if a good deal became available in January, United would jump at the chance to make it happen, and this could certainly be one of those situations.
Indeed, Adama Traore has consistently refused to sign a new deal with Wolves, and as his current contract ticks towards its expiry date, the Midlands outfit may think about cashing in on him.
These links seem to be rather speculative at the moment, especially when you consider that Leeds have an abundance of wingers and they spend so heavily in the summer, but as the saying goes, there’s no smoke without fire.
This is a situation that may be worth keeping an eye on as we get closer and closer to January.
