West Ham fans have taken to Twitter after Eurosport revealed that Inter Milan maestro Christian Eriksen is a target for David Moyes.

The Denmark international, who last played in England while at Tottenham, will be allowed to leave the San Siro in January.

Eriksen has found life in Italy tough since securing a £16.9 million move to Serie A back in January.

The 28-year-old has scored just four goals in 36 appearances for the Italian giants, while also recording a mere three assists.

The Danish playmaker was arguably one of the best players in the Premier League before his link-up with Antonio Conte at the start of this year.

In 305 games for Tottenham, he scored 69 goals and registered 89 assists.

He would be a real coup for West Ham, given his pedigree as a world-class player.

However, there’s no denying that his largely ineffective time at Inter Milan is a concern for any potential suitors.

The Middelfart-born midfielder has also attracted interest from Arsenal according to ESPN, so the Hammers could have a fight on their hands to land the Inter Milan playmaker.

The Irons are hardly in need of many additions right now. Moyes has got the east Londoners playing some great football, and they sit eighth in the Premier League as a result of their efforts.

Let’s see how the West Ham fans on Twitter reacted to Eurosport‘s news…
