Ivan Toney has suggested that he would prefer to move to Liverpool than Leeds United on the Total Media YouTube channel.
Liverpool before Leeds
Toney, who has impressed with Brentford in the Premier League, has started to attract admiring glances from a number of teams.
But when asked whether being the main man at Leeds or potentially a bit part player at Liverpool would appeal more, the £10 million striker (Sky Sports) said: “I’d have to go to Liverpool and make myself the main man.
“I support Liverpool. If they come knocking who knows? Who knows.”
Could Toney leave?
Given the way Toney is playing it would be no surprise if Leeds or Liverpool did make an attempt to sign him in the summer.
The target-man may not have scored quite as freely in the Premier League as he has the Championship, but his aerial presence is a real asset.

At Leeds he could offer Marcelo Bielsa’s side a potent outlet, and his potential combination with Daniel James and Raphinha would have to be considered very exciting.
If he was to move to Liverpool it would likely cause Jurgen Klopp’s side to change style.
Toney doesn’t have the finesse of a Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota, who have tended to lead the line for the Reds this term, but his power and presence up-front could offer them a highly useful option.
