Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left very impressed by Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin after yesterday’s game.

Tottenham ran out 3-1 winners over Newcastle, but Saint-Maximin caused plenty of problems over the course of the game.

The Frenchman was a constant threat to Tottenham’s defence, with his dribbling ability coming to the fore.

And Spurs supporters have suggested making a move for the skilful winger in the summer now.

Jose Mourinho does appear to have his eyes on bringing in a new attacker for Spurs this summer, but whether his budget will allow him to do so remains to be seen.

Newcastle would surely want big money for Saint-Maximin, who has enjoyed a wonderful debut season in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old looks to be the most exciting talent Newcastle have had on their books for many years, and he already carries much of their attacking threat.

Even without Saint-Maximin, Spurs had enough quality to see themselves past the threat of Steve Bruce’s side yesterday though.

Tottenham scored their goals through a brace from Harry Kane and a well placed finish from Heung-Min Son, as they took the three points back to London with them.
