Speaking on his YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand has made a claim about Heung-min Son and his future at Tottenham.
Spurs are in turmoil at the moment, and as you can imagine, their recent lull has led to a lot of speculation about their best players’ futures.
Reports over the weekend suggested that Harry Kane is getting fed up at the London club, and Rio Ferdinand reckons that Son must be feeling the same way.
“We expect Harry Kane to react or be different, we expect Son. Those two are top players, but their characteristics don’t rub off on what Spurs are like and what Spurs are about, they’re very different,” Ferdinand said.
“I’d be worried if I was a Spurs fan to be honest. This next transfer window, Harry Kane will be thinking ‘should I stay or should I go’, and Son must be thinking the same thing.”

Ferdinand might be right here.
So much is made of Kane never winning a trophy with Tottenham, but Son is never mentioned in the same breath.
The Korean is also one of the most talented footballers in England, and he’s good enough to play for any top club in Europe, so if he wanted to push for a move, he undoubtedly wouldn’t be short of suitors.
Spurs fans will be hoping that Ferdinand is wrong, but we wouldn’t blame Son if he was considering his future at Tottenham.
