Tottenham Hotspur will face Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Former Celtic and Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas has predicted on Skysports.com that Tottenham Hotspur will make at least eight changes against Aston Villa.

Premier League club Tottenham will take on Championship outfit Villa at White Hart Lane in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The North London outfit are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and will head into the game against the Villans with confidence.

Mauricio Pocettino’s side should be able to get the better of Steve Bruce’s team with relative ease.

Pochettino could make a number of changes to his starting lineup against Villa, especially as the tie is at White Hart Lane.

Former Arsenal forward Nicholas believes that Tottenham will make as many as eight changes to the team. The Scotsman has also predicted Vincent Janssen to score and Spurs to win 3-0.

“Mauricio Pochettino will make plenty of changes but I don’t see an upset here either,” Nicholas wrote on Skysports.com. “Steve Bruce isn’t an indecisive man and he won’t expect anything here.

Vincent Janssen and Kevin Wimmer will come in and the full-backs will change. I’d be amazed if Spurs don’t make at least eight changes.”

A footnote added: “Charlie predicts: 3-0 and Vincent Jansen to score first.”

Tottenham have not been beaten at home in the third round of the FA Cup since losing a replay 1-0 to Aston Villa in 1992 (as holders), according to BBC Sport.
