Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not resting up on international week by putting in extra training sessions with an altitude mask.

The Swedish striker, who retired from international football after Euro 2016, is using a state-of-the-art altitude mask to supplement his training schedule ahead of a vital run of games for Manchester United starting on October 17th.

Manchester United travel to arch-rivals Liverpool a week on Monday before facing Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday, and then a Sunday visit to Stamford Bridge.

The mask, developed by specialist firm Altitude Mask, replicates high-altitude conditions and has been used by a host of high-profile sports stars as they look for a vital edge in their training regimes.

Ibrahimovic has made a big impact at Manchester United since his arrival on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, scoring six goals in 11 appearances for Jose Mourinho#s side.

Ibrahimovic, who turned 35 earlier this month, will be hoping the altitude mask will boost his fitness ahead of a busy schedule for United.
