A selection of the latest transfer news involving Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday evening.
Tottenham are not interested in Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno according to Sky Sports.
Moreno is a target of Liverpool’s but there were reports this morning suggesting that Spurs were trying to hijack the deal, with Roberto Soldado and Etienne Capoue mooted as possible make-weights in a deal.
It is said that new boss Mauricio Pochettino would like some new defensive signings but Moreno is not on a list drawn up by himself, chairman Daniel Levy and technical director Franco Baldini.
Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand is a possible solution for left-back according to the London Evening Standard, who are reporting that Spurs will demand a £15 million fee if they are to part with midfielder Sandro.
Napoli are said to be interested in the midfielder who has hinted that he may be heading to the exit door in the past few months, but it isn’t clear as to whether the appointment of Pochettino as Head Coach will have changed things.
The Serie A side are also said to be interested in Erik Lamela according to TalkSport, with fellow Italians Inter Milan also interested.
However, the Daily Mail has reported that the Argentine will not be sold this summer despite a disappointing first season in North London.
The same report also states that Pochettino will refuse all offers for goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who has been linked with a move away with the club, with Roma said to have been interested in the Frenchman.
