Tadic sustained a facial injury in Serbia’s 1-1 draw with Wales.
Southampton star Dusan Tadic will consider wearing a protective mask for their next game when they take on Liverpool at St Mary’s on Saturday, according to a report in The Guardian.
Tadic felt he sustained a broken nose during Serbia’s 1-1 draw with Wales in Cardiff on Saturday night after being kicked in the face by Neil Taylor when contesting the ball.
The Serb is quoted in the Guardian, saying: “Serbia people are not soft. We will see. I can wear a mask.

“I think I have broken my nose. At first I thought I could not see so many things but I couldn’t leave my team-mates alone on the pitch and I wanted to play and this is important. Every player feels really important for the team. You cannot leave team-mates without you.”
If Tadic can find a way to play on Saturday it would be a welcome boost for Claude Puel’s side as they look to get the better of the league leaders following the international break.
It looked like a pretty nasty injury for Tadic but his quotes suggest he is someone who is determined to play regardless of the extent of his injury.

His manager will ultimately take the decision of whether to risk him or not but Puel will like to have as many of his best players available for this fixture as possible.
But Southampton do face a busy schedule ahead of them as they look to secure their passage to the knock-out stages of the Europa League next week when they travel to Sparta Prague, and they face an EFL Cup quarter-final at Arsenal as well as their Premier League games. No doubt it will be a period where Puel also rotates his side.
