Firmino and Coutinho seem to have an understanding that is hugely beneficial to their side.
Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has told LFCTV that he and his fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho think in the same way – suggesting why they have a good understanding on the field.
Firmino and Coutinho form two of Liverpool’s front three with Sadio Mane finishing the trio that has proved to be very effective for the Reds in the final third so far this season.
Each of the trio have four league goals apiece so far this season but Firmino and Coutinho’s understanding goes back even into last season.

Liverpool’s number 11 is full of praise for the talents his countryman has, telling LFCTV: “We think the same way. We know what we’re going to do before possessing the ball. We always understand each other in the games and with our skill everything turned out well.
“Philippe is a magician, who makes magic in each shot, who is always helping with scoring goals and his incredible moves.
“He is always doing his best on the field.”

Coutinho has shown he has the talent to be the star of the Liverpool side since his arrival from Inter Milan in 2013 and over the past few years has probably emerged as the side’s most important player – without disrespecting other members of the side.
His ability to always find himself in space, thread a pass in the final third – and manage to find the net are all attributes that make him such a good player.
Firmino is right in saying the duo do always seem to know where the other is on the field, and it can be a real joy to watch.
