Manchester United seem keen to land the player who was once on their books.

Manchester United will have no problems in paying whatever it costs to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus according to a report in the Manchester Evening News.
Jose Mourinho is keen to bring the Frenchman back to Old Trafford, after he became such a pivotal figure to the Serie A champions in the recent seasons.

The Guardian reported that Pogba could be valued at as much as £84 million with Real Madrid showing interest in the player, and there are suggestions that the 23-year-old could favour a move to the Bernabeu.
However, the report from the MEN suggests that United have agent Mino Raiola in their corner trying to persuade Pogba to return to Old Trafford, and will hold talks after the conclusions of France’s participation in Euro 2016. The agent has reportedly promised that he would ‘do his utmost’ in order to persuade the midfielder to make the move.

Mourinho has wasted no time in getting to work with his transfers this summer having completed moves for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly – with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s arrival from Borussia Dortmund expected to be made official in the very near future.
But signing Pogba would represent some real intent from United in Mourinho’s first season as he gets to work on trying to restore United to the top of the English game and make them a force in Europe again in the medium term.
United certainly are not shy of splashing the cash in the summer, like in previous seasons under Louis van Gaal as they look to improve on the disappointment of recent years.
