Liverpool have rejected a fresh bid from Crystal Palace for striker Christian Benteke, according to several reports, including the Daily Telegraph.
The overall package was said to be worth around £30 million, with Palace offering £23 million up front, and a further £7 million in add-ons.
However, Liverpool are said to want more money up front, therefore the Eagles may need to revise the package if the Belgian forward is to leave for Selhurst Park.

Benteke wasn’t even on the bench at the weekend for the Reds 4-3 win over Arsenal and is surplus to requirements.
Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp has made it pretty clear that Benteke’s future lies away from the club but has repeatedly said there won’t be any ‘gifts’ when it comes to selling players.
Liverpool parted with £32.5 million last summer to buy Benteke from Aston Villa when Brendan Rodgers was manager, but the player has struggled to fit into the side under Klopp, and fell down the pecking order with Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi both picked to lead the line at times last season, while Danny Ings has also returned from injury.

It’s inevitable that Benteke will be leaving Anfield this summer after a frustrating year which saw him score 10 goals for the club.
It remains to be seen whether Palace return with revised terms in order to try and get their man before the end of the transfer deadline, but Liverpool remain determined to get as much of their money back as possible.
