Darmian has yet to feature for Manchester United this season.

Inter Milan are ready to attempt to sign Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian on a season-long loan, according to a report in Gazzetta World.
The report says that Inter are only considering cheaper options for the remainder of the transfer window and that a deal could still be difficult to reach because of the wages Darmian commands.

Darmian has yet to feature for Manchester United in the first three games of the season with Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw preferred in the full-back positions.
If the Italian were to remain at Old Trafford beyond the transfer window then he may get some opportunities in the side when United’s participation in both the League Cup and Europa League gets underway, when there is likely to be some rotation in the squad to keep things fresh.

However, it would appear there is more chance of regular first-team football if he were to return to Italy for this season, as it seems United boss Jose Mourinho is pretty clear on his first choice picks in the full-back areas.
It will depend on whether the Manchester United boss feels he has enough options in that area of the field, as well as whether Inter can afford the player’s wages.
