Liverpool have released their new home kit for the 2015/16 season, with New Balance taking over from Warrior as the club’s new provider.

Daniel Sturridge, Raheem Sterling and Martin Skrtel were among the outfield players to reveal the new design – all red like all of Liverpool’s kits ever since Bill Shankly was manager – while Simon Mignolet modelled the black goalkeeping strip.

The players were interviewed on stage by journalists from the club’s in-house TV station, which also featured someone shouting from the crowd to Sterling to say he should make sure he’s wearing it next season (per the Liverpool Echo), a reference to the widely reported contract discussions being put on hold until the summer. After that, the players at the unveiling had to have what is nowadays a customary selfie in front of fans gathering in the Centenary Stand of Anfield.

As you may have guessed, there was a fair amount of fanfare when club legends – now club ambassadors – Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush took to the stage to talk about what it’s like to play for Liverpool.

Here is a look at what Liverpool will be sporting in the majority of their games next season, along with a vine of the unveiling from New Balance:
