Mangala looks set to complete a move to the La Liga side.

Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala appears to be on his way to Valencia having been pictured in Spain, what seems to be ahead of a medical.
According to Marca, Valencia were preparing to battle it out with FC Porto for the defender’s signature but it seems the La Liga side have won the race to sign the defender that Porto let go to the Etihad Stadium for a reported £32 million two years ago.
Sky Sports transfer centre (reported at 11:15) that Mangala is having his medical at the Spanish side.
The Frenchman will be seen as a vital signing for Valencia after they recently allowed Shkodran Mustafi leave for Arsenal.
It looked as if Mangala was going to face an uphill battle to get into the starting XI at City this season with Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones starting ahead of him, while their captain Vincent Kompany is likely to be a starter when he proves he is fit to do so.

Where his long term future lies remains to be seen but getting some regular game time can only aid him in his chances of nailing down a place in the France national squad.
But a good loan spell for the defender with Valencia will do him no harm.
