Coutinho was on the bench as Liverpool put four past Leicester at the weekend.

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has told the club’s official website that he believes the Reds have started the season on the right track, and has spoken about the options that manager Jurgen Klopp has available to him.
The Reds currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League after four games, having picked up seven points which has seen them record wins over last season’s champions and runners-up, while getting a draw at the side that finished third last season in Tottenham Hotspur.
There was, however, the disappointment of losing to Burnley on the second weekend of the season.

He told the official Liverpool website: “Of course we’ve dropped points, but the competition is very long [and] we’ve beaten teams that, theoretically, will be up there fighting for the title, so that boosts our confidence, and the fans’ confidence. That’s very important.”
Coutinho said in the same interview that Liverpool’s attack was virtually perfect as they put four past Leicester at Anfield on Saturday, with the Brazilian coming off the bench.
As a result, it shows the Reds have plenty of attacking options as Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Sadio Mane formed the side’s forward line; with Mane in particular seemingly making the Reds that much more of a feared force in the final third.

Coutinho added: “He’s very quick, he’s got very good feet, so that helps us to create a lot of chances to score – not just him but as we saw in the game, Daniel [Sturridge], Firmino, [Adam] Lallana up there too.
“The manager has a lot of options to choose from.”
It will be interesting if Coutinho gets back into the side for Friday night’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, given how well Liverpool’s front trio worked at the weekend. It would seem a little harsh for any of them to be dropped, but Klopp may adopt a ‘horses for courses’ approach which may see Coutinho come back into the side – having scored twice during Liverpool’s win there last season.
Whichever side is put out on Friday night, Liverpool will be hoping to claim another big win in the early stages of the season. 10 points from five games, with four of them coming away from road with some very difficult opponents thrown in would represent an excellent start to the season.
