Liverpool players were understandably delighted with their emphatic win over Swansea City.

Liverpool player seemed delighted with their night’s work at Anfield last night as they climbed above Swansea City with a 4-1 win over their opponents last night.

It was one of the better displays of the Reds’ season, if not their best, as they finished 2014 on a high, positioning themselves within five points of the Champions League places.

Adam Lallana scored twice and was pleased to double his tally in a Liverpool shirt, whilst Alberto Moreno was pleased to get his first goal at Anfield, having earlier scored for the club away at Tottenham in August, and was congratulated by teammate and fellow Spaniard Javier Manquillo for his performance.

Injured Daniel Sturridge commented as he works his way back to fitness having been sidelined since August, whilst Simon Mignolet described the result as ‘important’ to end the year, as he returned to the starting line-up following a spell out of the firing line.
