Lucas gave the start an ‘ok’ with Liverpool yet to play at home.

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Levia rates the Reds start to the season as okay having picked up four points from their opening three games.
The Reds started the season in thrilling fashion with a 4-3 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium but suffered a setback with a 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Burnley.

They bounced back by putting Burton Albion to the sword in the EFL Cup and were frustrated to only come away from White Hart Lane with a point as Tottenham pegged them back in a 1-1 draw.
Liverpool have yet to play at home this season because of redevelopment work at Anfield, with their first home game taking place this weekend when they face Leicester City on Saturday evening.
Lucas admitted the startwas okay but told the club’s official website: “Of course it could be better.
“Especially the Spurs game – we had a chance to win the game. The Burnley game was a strange one because we had a lot of the ball.

“I think it’s an OK beginning. We’ve played three games away from home in a row, and against two teams who will challenge for the top four and the title, so it’s not bad.
“But we need to get points and win games in a row as soon as possible because we want to be higher in the table.”
Picking up four points from away games against the two North London clubs is a pretty good return. The chances are that a lot of the clubs with ambitions of the title and top four will be satisfied with that haul, but the manner of the defeat to Burnley dampened the mood pretty significantly early on.
However, Liverpool have the opportunity to put that right with two huge games coming up. They will be favourites going into the game against Leicester City – even if the Foxes are defending champions – and a positive result at Stamford Bridge could spark some momentum early on in the season.
Given Liverpool’s record against clubs towards the top end of the table over the past 12 months, these are the kind of fixtures they tend to relish. Beating the sides they really should overcome tends to be their undoing.
