Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back from a season where they lost out in two cup finals, and have some success this term.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp still seems irked by the Reds’ Europa League final defeat to Sevilla in May.
Liverpool were 1-0 up at half-time thanks to a Daniel Sturridge strike but were taken apart in the second half in what many viewed as something of a collapse from the side, which ultimately cost the Reds a place in the Champions League next season.
Klopp said the side had over performed at times during their run to the final, which saw them beat Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal on their road to the final.

The Reds boss is quoted in the Liverpool Echo, saying: “When you watch it again you see that something broke at that moment. Different players had no weapons any more. They had no power and no confidence.
“You saw that. We went too deep in a lot of positions and we were not close enough to the challenges.
“All of it was not too good but it was, of course, about the intensity that we had had on the way to the final. We’d had to over-perform one or two times, we had to play very special games and we’d had a lot of games.”

Klopp seems determined to use that heartache to motivate his side to go on to better things during his first full season in charge of the club.
The Reds also lost the League Cup final on penalties to Manchester City but saw something of an upturn in form immediately afterwards. But both disappointments from last season, which saw them end up without silverware, are likely to be used in some way for the season ahead.
It will be interesting to see how Liverpool will respond to their disappointing end to the campaign at the start of next term.
Their pre-season campaign has gone pretty well so far having won each of their three games without conceding a goal, but there are sterner tests to come.
