Liverpool have a goalscoring threat from several areas of the side this season.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has said the Reds forward line has been well supported by the rest of the side this season when it comes to scoring goals, the club’s official website reports.
The Reds are the joint highest scorers in the division after 10 games, scoring 24 goals but they are evenly spread. The front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho have all found the net on four occasions so far this season.

But other players have managed to find the net including James Milner, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Emre Can, Joel Matip and even Henderson himelf has the one goal to his name in the early stages of the campaign.
The Reds’ skipper is quoted by liverpoolfc.com, saying: “Nobody has scored more, so that just tells you the story… the front three, front four, front five at times with people joining in from midfield like Ads, Emre, Gini or whoever it is, they’ve been brilliant.
“Everyone is chipping in with goals, it’s spread out, people who are coming in are getting goals, so going forward I think we’ve been excellent. It’s up to us to make sure as a team that when those players are going forward, expressing themselves and doing what they need to do, then the players behind are all always switched on and are there for protection.”

Perhaps the most amazing thing for the Reds is that neither Daniel Sturridge or Divock Origi have struck in the league so far this season, given they have struggled to either get into the starting XI, or hold down a place there.
But the real positive for Liverpool is the depth of their goalscoring threat. They aren’t just reliant on one or two playerss. Several sides have one individual ahead of the top goalscorers in the Liverpool side in any race for the golden boot, but trying to shut down so many threats is problematic for all sorts of sides.
It’s a threat that Liverpool will hope to maintain over the course of the season as they look to build on their very positive start.
