Howe appeared to dismiss rumours potentially linking him with the Arsenal role.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has dismissed links suggesting he would succeed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium.
As far back as May, the Daily Star reported that the Arsenal hierachy were admirers of the Cherries boss and that he was seen as a perfect fit.
Those links have since resurfaced in the past week, prompting questions to Howe at his press conference ahead of Bournemouth’s game with West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

He told reporters, as quoted by Sky Sports: “It’s meaningless. I don’t want to hear it. I don’t need to hear it. I just want to win games.
“It’s very hard to predict the future. If you try to then you come unstuck. In football management, you live week to week.
“You turn a blind eye to speculation and anyone that tells me about it I believe it is not meaningful and it doesn’t help me get results for this club.”

For now at least it seems that Howe is not concerned about reports linking him to any club and is focused on the job he has at Bournemouth. He also stated how loyal he was and his love of the area.
In the short term the job Howe has to contend with is recording their first win of the season when they take on West Brom at home this weekend.
So far the Cherries have registered one point from their opening three games – a draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park prior to the international break.
