Agger seems impressed with how things are currently progressing at Liverpool.

Former Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has told the club’s official website that he has high hopes for the side this season.
The Dane, who retired from football during the summer, attended Monday night’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United at Anfield which currently leaves the Reds in fourth place just two points off the top of the Premier League, and he seems pretty impressed with Jurgen Klopp’s management thus far.

It has been an impressive start to the season for the side as they have faced Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, last season’s champions Leicester City and United in their opening eight games.
Agger told the official Liverpool website: “It’s going well so far. To be honest, I have some expectations this year, especially after last year.
“Jürgen is looking good for the club, I think he’s doing well. He has some great ideas and the way he talks with the media, everything, I like.”
Having now got a batch of really difficult fixtures out of the way, Liverpool will be looking to kick on during their run of games from now up until Christmas, starting with their home game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday evening.

Liverpool have been very strong up front this season but the goalless draw against United will make a few wonder whether a template has been established to stop the Reds from getting the results they want at Anfield. West Brom are likely to be the first big test of that theory.
Many have taken note of the kind of start Liverpool have made. Now the challenge is for them to keep that sort of momentum going and position themselves well for the second half of the season.
