Xhaka has found the net twice in as many games from distance.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted his surprise at seeing Granit Xhaka finding the net from distance twice in as many games, the London Evening Standard reports.
Xhaka scored his first goal for the Gunners during the 4-1 win over Hull City at the weekend, and found the net again with another fine effort has Arsenal comfortably dispatched Nottingham Forest 4-0 to make it to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Upon his arrival from Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer, Xhaka had more of a reputation of being an enforcer and someone who could add steel to the middle of the park as well as some presence
Wenger is quoted in the Evening Standard, saying: “I knew he had a good shot. But he played very deep last year and didn’t get forward a lot.
“But I hope that will give him the taste for more. It’s great for him to get confidence as well and to know that he can score goals.”

It certainly does no harm for either the player or the side to see him find the net. If anything it gives opponents an extra thing to worry about, especially if Arsenal come up against a side that is hard to break down and wants to put men behind the ball.
Now there is something else to worry about as Xhaka has demonstrated he can find the net from distance.
Everything associated with Arsenal will be hoping this is a regular occurrence throughout the season. Certainly, opposition defences now have that extra aspect to think of when they face Wenger’s side.
