During Liverpool Under 21’s 2-0 win over Manchester City last night, Adam Morgan scored a goal that wasn’t dissimilar to a couple of efforts seen by Xabi Alonso in a red shirt.
The young striker made two appearances for Liverpool last season in the Europa League against Hearts at home and Anzhi Makhachkala away, but hasn’t had had a real look in since. Will this goal give Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers something to think about?
