West Ham United were beaten 4-2 by Watford in their latest outing.

Ian Wright has warned West Ham United that Dimitri Payet will grow frustrated unless his teammates’ performances improve, on Match of the Day (which was broadcast on BBC One on 10th September).
West Ham have started the new campaign in poor form, and they were beaten 4-2 by Watford yesterday.
Payet was making his first start of the season in the contest, and he chipped in with a wonderful assist for Michail Antonio.

However, the French international was let down by some of his teammates, as the Hammers threw away a 2-0 lead to lose the match.
Watford scored four times in the match, as Slaven Bilic’s side’s defence fell to pieces.
And Wright warned: “The sooner they can get him out on the pitch [the better]. They are going to need a lot more from him if they are going to carry on defending like that. He will get very frustrated.”

Payet was linked heavily with a move away from West Ham in the previous transfer window, but the London club fought hard to keep hard of their talisman.
Payet has been unavailable for much of the campaign so far, but now he is edging closer to full fitness, and West Ham will hope that their fortunes change upon the 29-year-old’s return.
Bilic’s side have made a disappointing start to the new season, with a match against West Bromwich Albion next up for them.
