Everton signed the reported Arsenal target on Friday.
Ian Wright has congratulated Henry Onyekuru on his move to Everton – but admitted that he wanted his former club Arsenal to sign the talented attacker.
The 20-year-old, who will spend next season on loan at Anderlecht, joined Everton on a five-year deal yesterday.
The Nigerian marksman had courted interest from some of England’s finest clubs and Arsenal were among those heavily linked earlier in June.

But the Toffees won the race for his signature and although Wright is happy for the youngster, the Gunners legend would have rather he went to the North London giants.
If his statistics are anything to go by then Everton certainly have a talent on their hands.
The former Eupen striker finished as the top goalscorer in Belgium last season after netting 22 times in 38 games.
He is the third player to join the Merseyside outfit this summer, following Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen to Goodison Park.
