Ian Wright tells Everton to sign Andre Gomes on long-term deal.

Ian Wright has suggested to BBC’s Match of the Day program [12/05/2019] that signing Andre Gomes may take Everton to the next level.
The Portugal international has been a revelation since joining Everton on a season-long loan from Barcelona last summer.
With the Premier League season done and dusted, naturally the focus is now on whether the Toffees can snap him up on a permanent basis.
Manager Marco Silva told The Telegraph on Sunday that he and Marcel Brands will do everything possible to keep the £30 million-rated 25-year-old at Goodison Park.
Silva’s side drew 2-2 away at Tottenham on Sunday, having beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months – and drawn with runners-up Liverpool.
And Wright reckons that the Merseysiders could be a ‘bit of a problem’ next season if a deal can be secured for Gomes.
“Gomes, are they going to be able to keep him? If they can keep people like that, Everton are going to cause a bit of a problem next season,” he told BBC’s Match of the Day program.
