Newcastle United are in danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season.

Newcastle are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 31 points from 29 matches.
Rafael Benitez’s side are six points above the bottom three, and the Magpies are in danger of dropping to the second tier of English football at the end often season.
Former Arsenal striker Wright believes that Newcastle will not go down, and he has also joked that he would not be able to take Magpies legend Alan Shearer’s tears should the club get relegated.
Wright said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday evening (8:36pm, March 5, 2019): “I think Newcastle are going to be alright. I wouldn’t want to see Newcastle go down, to be honest, because I couldn’t take Shearer’s tears.”

Positive feeling
Newcastle have one of the best managers in the world in Benitez, and the St. James’ Park faithful will be optimistic about the team staving off the dreaded drop.
The Magpies, though, have to win at least a couple of matches in order to feel more relaxed, and hopefully they will do so soon.
