Ian Wright has teased Tottenham Hotspur youngster Juan Foyth on Instagram after the Argentine defender gave away possession in the build up to Alexandre Lacazette’s goal for Arsenal.

The Gunners earned an excellent 4-2 win at the Emirates Stadium, after the Gunners went 2-1 down in a topsy-turvy clash that also saw Arsenal take the lead through a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty.

Eric Dier equalised with a header before Harry Kane scored from the spot, but Aubameyang was on hand to score a superb second for Arsenal to make it 2-2. Foyth then made his mistake, and Lacazette pounced.

Lucas Torreira rounded the win off with a well-taken fourth, giving Unai Emery’s side the bragging rights and leapfrogging Spurs into third place. Wright teased 20-year-old Foyth on Instagram in a video, screaming: “I love Foyth”.

Foyth has endured a rocky start to Premier League life since his debut for Spurs in the competition against Wolverhampton Wanderers last month, in which he conceded two penalties.

He made up for that with the winner against Crystal Palace in a 1-0 victory, and impressed in the 3-1 win over Chelsea but his display and mistake against Arsenal will surely have Mauricio Pochettino considering a Toby Alderweireld recall.

Spurs are next in action against Southampton on Wednesday night at Wembley, with the Saints having just sacked Mark Hughes.
