Ian Wright has suggested on Match of the Day Live that Tottenham Hotspur striker Carlos Vinicius probably wanted to come off at half-time against Marine yesterday.
Vinicius had fired in a hat-trick in the first-half for Spurs, as the Brazilian showed his goalscoring ability.
And Wright felt that Vinicius may have been eyeing up an early substitution, after doing his job so emphatically in the first 45 minutes.
“If I’m being totally honest now, if I’m Vinicius I’ve got my hat-trick and I’d probably want to come off. It’s freezing and there’s nothing more to prove,” he said.
If Vinicius did want to come off he didn’t show any disappointment that he was back out on the pitch in the second half.

The Benfica loanee continued to play with enthusiasm in the second period, as Tottenham racked up a 5-0 victory.
Vinicius didn’t manage to hit the back of the net again, but he did scoop up the Man of the Match award, after an impressive showing.
Despite the hat-trick, Vinicius is still likely to return to the bench when Tottenham are next in action against Aston Villa in midweek.
