The Tottenham Hotspur striker hasn’t quite been on top form this season.

BT Sport pundit Ian Wright looks on prior to the Emirates FA Cup Semi-Final match between Arsenal and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on April 23, 2017 in London, England.

Ian Wright praised Tottenham striker Harry Kane for his ability to get in the box at just the right time when it matters, although he did suggest that he doesn’t seem sharp, as quoted by Football.London.

The 25-year-old has been in sensational form for Spurs and England over the past few years, scoring 150 goals in 229 appearances for his club, and 20 in 35 outings for his country.

Kane is now widely considered to be one of the best strikers in world football, and he is vitally important to both Tottenham and England’s hopes of achieving success over the coming years.

Wright explained how Kane doesn’t seem to be as sharp as he should be, however, suggesting that he isn’t moving quickly enough, as quoted by Football.London:

Harry Kane of England scores his team's second goal during the UEFA Nations League A group four match between England and Croatia at Wembley Stadium on November 18, 2018 in London, United...

“We were very surprised by the way he plays because he doesn’t seem sharp, he doesn’t seem like he’s moving quick enough but if you look at [Marcus] Rashford and [Raheem] Sterling, and the way they’re bursting forward when he drops into that hole it suits him. It suits him to a tee because we know that when it comes down to it he’ll be in the box when it matters.”

Next up for Tottenham is a clash with Chelsea on Saturday, and they will need Kane to be on his very best form, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating their London rivals.
