Ademola Lookman joined RB Leipzig on loan from Everton in the January transfer window.

Lookman joined German club RB Leipzig on loan from Everton in the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, scored on his debut for his new club, finding the winner against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga at the weekend.

Arsenal legend Wright has suggested that Everton should not have send the former Charlton Athletic youngster out on loan.
Wright said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC 5 live Sport on Monday evening (8:18pm, February 5, 2018): “I would not get rid of Lookman.
“I wouldn’t send him out because I think he is somebody that can come on and change a game. He can.
“He is somebody that you could bring on for Theo (Walcott), but to send him out completely is just ridiculous.”

Move makes sense
Lookman is a very talented and promising young attacking player, and from his perspective, it made sense to go out on loan.
RB Leipzig are an ambitious club in Germany who could end up second in the Bundesliga this season.
The England Under-21 international would improve playing in a very competitive environment.
It could also help Everton, as Lookman would return to Goodison Park in the summer of 2018 a better player.
