Leeds United are one of the biggest clubs in England, but they have not played in the Premier League since 2004. Once featuring in the Champions League, Leeds have been playing in the Championship for years.

Until this season, the Whites had been an also-ran in the second tier of English football. However, there is a very good chance that they will be playing in the Premier League during the 2017-18 campaign.

Garry Monk’s side are going strong in the Championship at the moment and should be able to clinch a playoff spot.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright is pleased to see Leeds doing so well, and has said that he would love them to return to the top flight of English football.

Despite being in the Championship, Leeds have regularly got over 20,000 fans for their home games at Elland Road.

The West Yorkshire outfit have a massive following, and the fans must surely be loving it at the moment.

Getting promoted to the Premier League via the playoffs is not easy, but the Leeds fans have to keep believing.
