West Ham have appointed David Moyes after sacking Slaven Bilic on Monday.

Ian Wright has told BBC Radio 5 Live that he is concerned for West Ham United’s fans and the future of the club after the Hammers appointed David Moyes as manager.
West Ham announced their decision to replace sacked manager Slaven Bilic with Moyes on their official website, the first time co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold have replaced a manager in the middle of the season.
The east Londoners have been left by Bilic in the bottom three of the Premier League with just two league wins from 11 outings in England’s top tier, leaving the board with no other choice.

However, former Arsenal and England striker Wright believes Moyes’ previous jobs at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland have shown little progression and it will be the same at the London Stadium.
“He’s been at Man United, and Real Sociedad. All of those [jobs since Everton] have been a poor showing on his behalf,” Wright said. “I would have given him six months, but at no stage during his previous tenures did it look like something was going to happen.
“West Ham need someone to come in who they’re gonna say ‘You know what? he’s not fashionable, but he does this, and he does that’. What happens to West Ham if he doesn’t change it, like he didn’t at United, Sociedad and Sunderland.
“What happens to West Ham? That’s what the fans are worried about”.

Bilic, 49, saw his West Ham tenure end in his third season in charge, after guiding the Hammers to a lofty seventh place in his first season during 2015-16. However, an eleventh-placed finish last term and now in the relegation zone has seen him dismissed.
Moyes will be looking to work with the West Ham players and develop an understanding quickly ahead of the Hammers’ next outing against Watford on November 19.
