Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has emerged as one of the favourites to win the Premier League golden boot again.

Ian Wright has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Instagram for getting nominated for the Ballon D’or award.

Kane was selected among the 30 best players in the world for 2017, after what has been a momentous year in a Tottenham shirt.

The England international has earned a reputation as one of the most feared marksmen in world football.

And Wright was quick to praise Kane on social media, after the Spurs’ striker’s nomination yesterday.

Kane was the only Spurs player to receive a nomination for the Ballon D’or award, but Premier League players such as Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante were also included on FIFA’s list of players.

Kane finished as the top scorer in the Premier League last season, and looks to be in with a strong chance to retaining the award for the third campaign running.

The Spurs man has scored scored 11 goals in his first nine appearances this term at club level, and he found the back of the net in both games England played over the international break.

Tottenham’s next match comes against Bournemouth, where Kane will be eyeing up even more goals to add to his tally.
