Former Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played well for Liverpool against West Ham United in the Premier League at the weekend.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had one of his best games in a Liverpool shirt on Saturday evening, as he helped demolish West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Liverpool got the better of West Ham 4-1 in London in the Premier League to maintain their chances of finishing in the top four.

The 24-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 87 minutes, and scored the Reds’ fourth goal in the 56th minute.

The England international, who can also operate as a winger, joined Liverpool from Arsenal in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £40 million.

According to The Guardian, the 24-year-old attacker earns £120,000 per week at Anfield.

Former Liverpool star John Arne Riise was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Oxlade-Chamberlain, and so was Arsenal legend Ian Wright, who sent him a message on social networking site Twitter containing only emojis, underlining that he still wishes him well despite his departure from the Gunners in the summer of 2017.
