Son Heung-min is an important player for Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Arsenal striker Wright believes that Son, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, must now be worth between £60 million and £70m – almost four times of what Tottenham reportedly paid for him.
The 26-year-old South Korea international joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £18 million.
Wright said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday evening (8:25pm, February 11, 2019): “Son is £60-£70m now, and he has surely got to be in and around that money.”

Son is one of the best players in the Premier League, and in the absence of the injured Harry Kane, he has been scoring the goals for Tottenham.
The 26-year-old has made 15 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
With Tottenham challenging for the Premier League title this season, Son has to maintain his current form and continue to score goals.
Meanwhile, Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier praised Son on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports Football last Saturday afternoon (1:19pm, February 9, 2019), and said while discussing whether the South Korea international should be in contention for the Player of the Year award: “He is hitting form at the right time, that’s the thing with the Player of the Year.
“A lot of people’s memories don’t always go back to the start of the season. He made sub appearances here and there.
“It has been only in the last few months really where he has really lit up, and he has been exceptional for the last few months, he really has.”
