Should Newcastle United make a move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge in the January transfer window?

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has suggested on BBC 606 Twitter page that Newcastle United would be the ideal club for Daniel Sturridge.
The former Arsenal striker has stated that the Newcastle fans would take to the England international.
Wright made the comment during the Premier League game between Newcastle and Liverpool at St. James’ Park on Sunday evening.
The 28-year-old former Manchester City and Chelsea striker started the match and played for 74 minutes.
While Wright may think that Newcastle would be good for Sturridge, the Magpies’ fans do not seem to want him in their team.

Sturridge is a very good striker, but the Englishman is injury-prone and struggles to stay fit.
The striker, who earns £120,000 per week at Liverpool according to The Daily Star, has scored one goal and provided one assist in five Premier League appearances so far this season.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the 28-year-old was able to make only seven starts in he Premier League for the Reds.
