Former Celtic striker Ian Wright worries about the club’s ability to progress further.

Celtic’s excellent season was capped off yesterday as they clinched the Scottish Premiership title.
It was their sixth title win in a row, with returning rivals Rangers never getting a look in.
Their continued success should be marvelled at, but former striker Ian Wright has a warning for Brendan Rodgers’ side, feeling that they simply will not be able to go any higher.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live’s 606 on Sunday night (2/4): “They have got a massive fansbase, one of the biggest in Europe. But there is a glass ceiling to what they can do.
“I don’t believe that if they joined the Premier League they couldn’t attract top players to Glasgow. It [joining the English leagues] would never happen, but you do feel they will never progress and get where they should be.”

Celtic have had a lack of competition in recent seasons, and this has hampered their progression in Europe.
They have not been used to playing against top sides, while truly high class players have wanted to play where it is more competitive.
With Brendan Rodgers at the helm however, there is no suggestion they are going stale. This is his first season at the club, and Celtic have made big strides.
They qualified for the Champions League this season which they failed to do under previous boss Ronny Deila, which has helped them financially for this upcoming campaign.
