Ian Wright has claimed that Arsenal transfer target, Michael Olise, will go on to do ‘unbelievable’ things in his career, as he told ITV Sport.

The former Arsenal striker added that Olise, who is currently thriving in Crystal Palace colours this season, has a ‘massive future’ ahead of him.

Working under the stewardship of another Highbury hero, Patrick Vieira, Olise is part of a young crop of Palace stars that is progressing near-on every week under the Frenchman.

Palace have booked their trip to Wembley this season after they thrashed Everton in the FA Cup over the weekend, it has now landed them a semi-final showdown against their London rivals, Chelsea.

Nonetheless, with clubs like Arsenal knocking for Olise’s talents, Wright was full of praise for the youngster and what he can do in his career.

“When you watch what Zaha brings to the team, Wilf is what 29 now? Here you are talking about a youngster that has a massive future,” said Wright.

“When you look at what he does in the final third. Go and do what you want. He is going to be somebody that is going to do unbelievable things.

“He has just been called up to the U21s in France. But he deserves that.”

When Olise is on the ball, it looks effortless to the ball-carrying forward and it’s a big reason why he stands out from the crowd.

If Arsenal are serious about snapping up the 20-year-old, then there’s no reason why they can’t sign him up.

But a certain former Arsenal midfielder will want him to stay put at Selhurst Park because he has made huge strides under his stewardship.

Although with the young stars balling it out at the Emirates, someone like Olise fits right in, and in truth, he is better than Arsenal’s club-record signing, Nicolas Pepe.
