Ian Wright has told Match of the Day Live that Tottenham Hotspur’s Harvey White seriously impressed him in the warm-up before their game against Marine yesterday.
White made his first start for Spurs in the FA Cup clash, and the youngster put in a classy display against the non-league side.
White saw a lot of the ball and was able to showcase his passing range, as Tottenham ran out 5-0 winners on the day.
And Wright says that the ability that White has was clear to see, even during the warm-up.
“I wanted Harvey White to take it [the free-kick which led to Tottenham’s third goal] because i’ve been watching him in the warm-up and his left foot looks really good,” the pundit enthused.
White is one of the Tottenham youngsters who Jose Mourinho really seems to have taken a shine to.

The 19-year-old has been training with the senior squad for some time now, and Mourinho said before the game that he should be considered a first-team player.
White has only managed limited game time at Spurs this season though, and it will be interesting to see whether he is kept at the club or loaned out this month.
