Liverpool have finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table this season.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has responded to a post on Twitter mocking Liverpool for missing out on the Premier League title to Manchester City this season.
City came from a goal down to get the better of Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 away from home on Sunday afternoon to finish a point clear of Liverpool, who ended up second after winning 2-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.
Former Arsenal striker Wright has hit back at a tweet mocking Liverpool after the Reds narrowly failed to win the title for the first time in the Premier League era.
Brilliant season
Liverpool may have fallen short, but there is no doubt that the Reds have been superb this season.
City have the best squad in England, and kudos to the Reds for running them close in the league.

Jurgen Klopp’s side is not over yet, as they have a Champions League final to look forward to.
Liverpool will face Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Madrid on June 1.
