Newcastle United are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has responded to a Newcastle United fan on Twitter who has cancelled his season ticket for the 2019-20 season.
The Newcastle supporter has been a season-ticket holder for 27 years, but he has decided to cancel it given how things are going at the club at the moment.
Former Arsenal striker Wright has responded to the message, and he seems to be understand the Newcastle fan’s frustration.
Wright also seems to have mocked Newcastle owner Mike Ashley’s (reported) decisions regarding HMV and House of Fraser.
As reported by Sky Sports back in August 2018, Ashley’s Sports Direct firm bought House of Fraser for £90 million.
According to a recent report on BBC Sport, the Newcastle owner has made a bid to buy music chain HMV.

Relegation worries
Newcastle won against Cardiff City at St. James’ Park in the Premier League at the weekend, but the Magpies remain in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Rafael Benitez’s side are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 21 points from 23 matches, just two points above the relegation zone.
