Tottenham Hotspur have won against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Tottenham got the better of Madrid 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium in London in Champions League Group H.
The North London outfit took the lead on 27 minutes when England international midfielder Dele Alli scored.
The former Milton Keynes Dons youngster doubled the advantage for Spurs on 56 minutes, and Christian Eriksen made it 3-0 on 65 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo pulled one back for Madrid 10 minutes from full time, but there was no comeback for Zinedine Zidane’s side at Wembley.
The win against Madrid means that Tottenham have now qualified for the last-16 stage of the Champions League and could actually go through as group winners.
Arsenal legend Wright was following the match, and the former England international striker was impressed with the performance of Spurs against defending European champions Madrid at the Wembley Stadium in London.

“It was comfortable as well,” Wright told BBC Sport (21:41). “Tottenham played it perfectly. They respected them but they let Real Madrid earn their respect.
“The tempo, the technical ability and the intensity…Real Madrid couldn’t get near them. Spurs were better in every department and it was very, very impressive.”
